10/17/19 – This is an all original and correct example of one of the rarest Simson Luger variants. This is an S Code example that was issued to the German Police, and retains one of the original, matching magazines. All numbers are matching, including the grips, and all small parts correctly have the Simson Eagle/6 proofs, even the grip screws. The magazine is factory numbered to the gun, though it does have a Police Arsenal ‘1’ added, as well as sear safety over sideplate, and the frame is tapped for the magazine safety. The small parts retain about 80% of the original straw, and the gun has about 90% blue. Profile view is excellent with standard high point wear, but straps have notable thinning, and there’s a small area of pitting on the front strap.
