10/1/19 – This is an original WW2 K98 bayonet dated 1941. The blade is also maker stamped “cvl” which is a code for the blade maker WKC. The reverse side of the blade is serial numbered 6405a. Unfortunately, this doesn’t match the scabbard serial number. However, the blade is in beautiful, minty condition. The handle is also excellent but there is some light freckling on the metal areas of the handle. The scabbard has light surface scratches and patina. There are a few minor dents as well. The leather frog has some surface cracking and the loop hole is broken. Priced accordingly (priced to sell!).
