7/10/19 – This is a fantastic, historic, early post-war West German Walther PPK, chambered in desirable and uncommon 7.65mm. It is in 99% original condition, having only a few tiny spots of “box” wear on the front of the slide from shifting inside its original box. The gun is not import marked and is dated 1963. It is a complete set with a matched box, test target, manual, cleaning rod, extra mag and a firing pin indicator tool. What makes this gun so unique are the original “retention papers” by a US army captain stationed in West Germany, which are dated 1964. This is the first such set we’ve come across and it might warrant further historical research that can be undertaken by the gun’s new owner.
