5/8/19 – This is a WWII original service bayonet to commemorate time in service with the nazi army. The bayonet blade is engraved on one side, and maker stamped by Eickhorn on the reverse side. Minty condition with little to no signs of wear. The scabbard is similarly minty with shiny black paint that is factory original (not repainted) and there are no dents. The black leather frog is also original and appears unmarked. Comes with an original portepee with a pink and silver knott. Research tells me this indicates a fire official. So perhaps this is for a fire official who served in the nazi military. All original and correct.
