3/26/19 – This is an original WW2 police style luger holster made by H.EGER & LINDE. The holster is maker stamped on the back leather (fairly faint). There’s no visible proof eagle or date stamp. The front leather has a faint “Death Head” skull and crossbones. This is the notorious stamp of the nazi SS. We believe this is an original, period correct stamp as it’s very faint and faded on the leather. The style also looks correct – these are discussed on page 176 of Jan Still’s Weimar Lugers Book. The holster has fairly worn leather but is in tact and all original stitching. The right lower attachment on the back belt loop has a period repair on the stitching. A very rare and historically chilling holster.
