2/28/19 – This is an excellent and early example of an Inland manufactured M1 Carbine. Made in December of 1942, the finish on metal parts is original and rates in the high 90s with just minor thinning on the barrel. Early, six digit serial. High wood, I-cut stock. Original slide. Minty bore. Excellent stock with crossed cannons cartouche on right side. The sling cut is marked but it’s tough to make out the proof mark. Handguard marked IO internally.
