12/13/18 – This is a scarce 1934 Mauser made in late 1939 or early 1940. This gun would have been produced just before the factory switched over to HSC production. It is Eagle/N proofed which helps to determine the date. It is also Nazi test proofed on the back left side of the frame and Eagle/655 proofed, indicating it was issued to the German Army. These guns are fairly rare with an estimate of only ~8,000 procured by the army. The original finish covers about 98% of the gun in a nice high-polish finish. The high edges at back and front of slide show minor thinning, but the gun is otherwise in excellent condition. The bore is shiny and strong. Grips show some age and handling wear but no chips or cracks.
