10/23/18 – This is an original early WW2 example of a Luftwaffe Pilot Badge made by Berg & Nolte. Nickel Silver wreath and Silver plated Brass-based eagle. The eagle is purposefully darkened by the manufacturer with an artificial oxidation layer, while the wreath has a frosted silver finish. The wreath has some honest wear. Maker stamped on the reverse side. Comes with a lifetime guarantee and letter of authenticity by Thomas Durante. Signed and dated 2/9/2016. Guaranteed original and authentic.
