9/10/18 – This is a very nice, original example of a DWM made Artillery Luger rig from 1917. The pistol comes with the original matching numbered stock and a 1917 dated holster, as well as original cleaning rod, mag pouch and luger tool. The pistol is all matching numbers except the magazine, and retains 93-95% original blue with most finish loss found on the high edges from the holster rub. The small parts show only very faint amounts of the original straw. The stock is matching to the gun and very faintly Imperial proofed. The holster is in very good condition and was originally brown but likely dyed black by the German Army when uniform codes were revised during WWII. It includes the rare and original straps, cup and mag pouch. The tool and rod are unmarked but period original. Pistol bore shows some use but is shiny with strong rifling.
